Feds to host stimulus broadband workshops

The first round of stimulus grants for rural broadband development were awarded in December, but organizations hoping to apply for the second round of funding have several opportunities to learn more about the grant process. The $ 4.8 billion available in the second round of funding will come from the National Telecommunications and Infrastructure Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service.

The National Rural Assembly has passed along a list of 10 NTIA and RUS workshops aimed to review the application process and answer questions from prospective applicants. You can see the list below and or read the NRA release.
