His wife ran for Congress against a pro-ag Congressman and the Humane Society of the United States funded her campaign. His hires in the USDA are somewhat questionable, including the Chief Enforcement officer in APHIS, as Ms. Conant was a direct hire from the HSUS. The HSUS is infiltrated in policy throughout the USDA and is an anti-animal consumption, utilization, hunting, fishing, and recreation entity. Her loyalty to Vilsack was accommodated by giving him a few minutes in the limelight, but, he brought nothing to attract rural voters. Rural voters would not have been duped that easily when the layers of Tom Vilsack were peeled back.RLWnoreply@blogger.com
