Rural advocate to be on radio show today discussing impact of shutdown on rural communities

Dee Davis, president of the Center for Rural Strategies, will be a guest today on the KCRW and Public Radio International show "To the Point" to discuss how the government shutdown is affecting rural communities. The one-hour show, which originates in Santa Monica, Calif., and is hosted by Warren Olney, is not available in all areas.
