Broadband providers and users--or would-be users--in the Upper Midwest are invited to share their perspectives on enhancing connectivity at a listening session from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Central Time on Tuesday, June 19 at the Archery Building at the Rice County Fairgrounds in Faribault, Minn. A live webcast of the session will be available here.
The session is one of several across the country in the "What's on the Horizon for E-Connectivity?" project, which seeks insights on what is needed to improve e-connectivity and enhance the economic health of rural America. The project is organized and sponsored by the Farm Foundation, CoBank, NTCA-The Rural Broadband
Association, the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, the
National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation, and the U.S.
Department of Agriculture.
"We want to hear from the people who live and work with limited
broadband access today, as well as those who have innovative solutions
for expanding the availability of those services," says Constance
Cullman, President of Farm Foundation.
