All over the nation, local and state governments are having to pay for the cleanup of methampheatine labs, a task once funded by a federal program that has been cut back. Collin Binkley of The Columbus Dispatch reports, "The pool of money that Ohio enforcement agencies use to clean up the hazardous waste created by methamphetamine labs will soon run dry" perhaps as early as this week. Ohio has been spending $1,800 a day on meth-lab cleanup. (Read more)
